In modern machine shops, CNC machines are the critical value-creation assets. Spindle time is at a premium, often making one-off jobs like fixtures, jigs, drill guides and workholding tools cost-prohibitive. Increasingly, Additive Manufacturing (AM) is being used in CNC operations to complete support jobs to free up CNC machines. With short cycle times, a broadening selection of materials, and the capability to meet an array of strength, stiffness, and accuracy requirements, AM is quickly becoming a cost-effective solution path to reduced changeover times and increased speed to market.

During this on-demand webinar, MAGNET Senior Design Engineer Dave Pierson discusses how manufacturers of all sizes are currently using Additive Manufacturing to advance their operations, and what next steps you can take to begin your own journey towards adopting AM.

This webinar was originally presented on March 16, 2021 at 10:00 AM PT.
