The R&D tax credit program is one of the greatest sources of non-dilutive funding available to companies today. It reimburses up to 10% of R&D expenses, either as a tax credit for profitable companies or even as a cash refund for unprofitable startups. So, why are 80% of eligible California companies still not taking advantage of this program?  The truth is simply that most companies are unaware of the program or don't know how to get started, but we're here to help!

During this webinar, Boostr Consulting LLC's R&D Tax Credit Consultant Emilio Pineda and Santa Cruz Works' Executive Director Doug Erickson provide a detailed overview of the R&D tax credit program, including guidance for California business leaders on:

  • R&D Tax Credit Program Fundamentals from a technical point of view
  • The legal and financial aspects of a claim
  • When to claim expenses on contracts where you get paid to do R&D
  • An overview of many less-known expenses you can claim to help maximize your refund

This webinar was originally presented on October 13, 2021, at 11:30 AM PT.
